Rhuddgaer was once a large estate dating back to land given the to the Cistercians by the Welsh princes and eventually sold off by Henry VIII , the estate seemed to be modernised in the 1800's which may be when the kiln was built. It can be accessed from the coastal path. Thanks to Matt Jones for the photo and information.
